Tall, beautiful and a leggy lass. You probably know who is in the limelight today. Yes,  you were right, Deepika Padukone.

Right from her kingfisher days she has always made it to the hearts of many. Alongside modelling, she also started her career into acting a few years ago and now is one of the most sought after Bollywood actress. Her performances in her recent films have been some of the highest grossing films of the time, and she also garnered positive critical acclaim. Always known for her straight forwardness, she also reflects it in the way she carries herself.

Deepika goes total south at the 58th South Filmfare Awards. This abstractly designed saree with alternate bands worked well enough for this slender actress. High neck sleeveless blouse along with the net wrap balanced the look. Her smile and neat hairdo were the perfect accessories to complete her demure look.


Dressed as a perfect Indian ambassador at an international Film Festival. This ivory and gold embroidered ensemble was designed by Indian designer Rohit Bal. Draped perfectly to accentuate her curves, the saree would not look graceful on anybody else.


Deepika looks ravishing in this peach net saree at the Filmfare awards 2012. Pastel green blouse with a floral cut gives it a more feminine feel. Binged border on the saree adds to the evening glamour coupled with studded jhumkaas.


Deepika flaunted this modern day sari at the UK premiere of one of her Bollywood releases. This ensemble looked like an evening gown from the front but was actually a sari. It had pleats at the bottom with a sat.


Deepika stands true to her fashionista tag at The Nominations Event of the Filmfare Awards. She looks total chic in these black palazzo pants coupled with the silver jacket. Black pumps, a thin strap watch and a small animal print clutch keep the casual sense of the event on.

Deepika Padukone looked stunning in this deep red one shoulder gown by Gauri and Nainika at the Hello! Hall Of Fame Awards. Hugging on her bust line and flowing freely from her waistline, she pulled it off with a beaded cuff and swept her hair into a high bun. She could easily be featured in a modern day fairy-tale.


After the success of her two consecutive hits, Deepika flew all the way to Morocco to attend the 13th Marrakech International Film Festival. Elegance reflected out of her mustard yellow gown. String neckline with plunging back along with gold earrings made for a simple yet sweet outfit.


Deepika Padukone hit the Red Carpet in a sea blue Gauri & Nainika with a plunging backless gown that had a ruffled bottom accompanied with minimal accessories at the 18th Colour Screen Awards. This was a figure hugging outfit in all the right places, and the side braid gave her the ultimate Red Carpet look.


Deepika flaunted a Gaurav Gupta lace gown in red at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2012. She oozed oodles of sexiness with lace and net gown. The net showed ample of cleavage and a sculpted waist right until her navel. Cropped hair, shimmery eyes and red lips completed the outfit calling it sassy enough to surface envy at the event.


She was “dressed to kill” at the Zee cine awards 2012, Macau. This ivory coloured gown co centric at her waist made her look like a star fallen from heaven. She certainly captured majority eyes and paparazzi.


Deepika Padukone was seen in a swirl print Naeem Khan gown at Big Star Entertainment Awards 2012. Although the print seemed a bit too much, it was balanced out with small earrings and medium high ponytail.


The 4th edition of Cosmopolitan’s Fun Fearless Female and Male Awards saw Ms. Padukone in white halter neck Salvatore Ferragamo striped gown. Critics said the high neck looked a bit stuffy, but the makeup and hand accessories saved it for the day!  The colour added to the peppiness of the occasion.


Deepika Padukone donned in this bold avatar at the Filmfare Idea Awards2013. Filmfare is one of the most prestigious and lavish award ceremonies where we have stars showcase their best and quite certainly Miss Padukone made heads turn. Prabal Gaurang, a Nepalese American fashion designer stroke just the right chords this panelled dress. Minimal accessories drew all the attention to her curves making this outfit a big hit.


Lace is for grace is what this turquoise green bodice spoke. The 19th Annual Colours Screen Awards saw a glimpse of her long legs which went even longer with nude heels. Just the right makeup and hairdo and she was all set and ready to glamourize her audience.


Deepika Padukone walking the red carpet in this white flowing gown with arrowed sleeves at the Zee Cine Awards, 2013. Gold and white for an elegant yet subtle look. Pearl earring with deep red lips gave a shine.


The sleeveless LBD with a cream band on the bust line said volumes about her personality in general. Nude pumps and a gold watch were perfect accessories to the dress. The dress also highlighted her lean figure.
