Anushka Sharma is a famous supermodel and film actress who has recently completed 5 years of successful Bollywood career recently. This 25-year-old beautiful young Diva was born on 1st May 1988 in Bangalore. She is the daughter of Col. Ajay Kumar Sharma, a highly ranked officer in the Indian Army and Ashima Sharma who is a homemaker. Her elder brother Karnesh is also an officer in Merchant Navy. She completed her schooling in an Army School and joined Mount Carmel College, Bangalore to pursue a bachelor degree in Arts.

Initially, Sharma had superb ambition to take modeling as a profession and soon got major offers from the niche. During the initial phase of her career, she got the chance to walk the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week for Les Wamp Show of Wendel Rodricks. She was also one of the few models on the ramp at the Spring Summer Collection Finale in 2007. During this time, she featured in endorsement ads for reputed brands including Silk & Shine, Fiat Palio, Nathella Jewelry, and Whisper. Anushka Sharma’s career took a major turning point during 2007-08 when she was paired opposite SRK in Yash Raj Films (YRF) productions- Aditya Chopra’s directorial venture ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ (2008). In 2010 appeared her third YRF release ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ directed by Maneesh Sharma gave her a major breakthrough as performer sharing a charismatic onscreen presence with co-actor Ranvir Singh. Her second film ‘Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl’ with the actor and their sizzling chemistry attracted several rumors about their relationship. However, the actress did not achieve any major success in 2013 when her only release ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ with actor Imran Khan failed to impress the audiences.
