Girls….Spice-up-your-look-for-Sunburn-in-Goa

Are you ready to kick up some sand and party hard this winter? If the answer is yes, you should be headed to Sunburn Goa festival. Its 3 days of heart thumping music and parties all night at the beach – Sunburn Goa is India’s Ultra Music Festival. Since 2007, Goa’s Candolim beach has been playing host to this one of kind EDM festival that has gained immense popularity and has been dubbed as the 9th largest festival in the world by CNN. Keeping up with the previous year’s glory, 2013 brings biggies like Afrojack, Dickster, Quintino and a impressive lineup of both Indian and international DJs to the Goan shores.

The beach parties usually start around 3 PM and you can dance to the beats till midnight here. And if you haven’t had enough fun – head to the exclusive after parties where you can do some celebrity spotting too. Besides having a good time at the festival, you couldn’t possibly come back from a Goan holiday without visiting at least a couple of those popular beaches. Goa is best explored on bikes or scooters. Do not miss the casinos, clubs and delicious food either.

So are you ready to rock with some sun and sand for company? But before you pack your bags, let’s help you with what you need to pack.

Goa is no place for winters – so don’t even think of packing your jeans and jackets. The evenings are a lot cooler, but definitely not chilly. A shrug or stole would be enough to keep you warm. Pack a lot of colour into your suitcases. The trick to stay stylish at the Sunburn festival is to keep it simple.

Shorts and skirts:

Shorts and skirts would be your best friends in the warm weather. They are practical and can be dressed up or down according to the occasion. Pair up with a cropped or tank top and colourful flipflops for the beach. Switch the flipflops with a pair of elegant pump shoes, put on a shrug and head to the after parties at the clubs.

Summer dresses:

Colours, prints and cuts – you will find a variety of options to choose from. Try the pretty girl look; in a flared cotton short dress in pastel shades or go bold in a low neck or strapless sheath dress. For the evenings, long flowy skirts and palazzo pants will be perfect.

Keep the sun out:

Make sure you pack those sunglasses and hats – Goa can be a little too warm for December. Stoles and scarves will help too, especially when you are riding around on a bike.

Keep the feet comfortable:

Bellies, flip-flops, crocs and sandals will be your feet’s best friends. Keep those stilettos and pumps reserved for the clubbing only. The Goan clubs do not stress on dressing up. It’s the easy life here and you party all night in flip-flops.
