Raghavendra Rathore graduated from the Parsons School of Design, New York, in 1992. Raghavendra Rathore then went to work for Donna Karan as an assistant designer at DKNY. Later his stint at Oscar De La Renta gave him great exposure in shaping his career.

This good looking fashion designer cemented his place in the Indian fashion industry when patented the Jodhpur’s and Bandhgalas. The Rathore Bandhgalas are meticulously handmade by skilled artisans. The Bandhgalas fit like a glove from neck down to the waist at the same time it allows free movement of the arms. Raghavendra Rathore sources fabrics like polyester blends, jacquards, linen, silk and wool from all over the world. Rathore designs are mostly popular in muted colors like Black, white, grey, beige, navy blue and burgundy.

Raghavendra Rathore moved on to Jewelry, children’s clothing and even I phone software there after. He showcased his creativity in jewelry designing when he designed a collection for Tanishq’s Zoya diamond boutique called Gold of Narlai, with items such as bracelets, earrings, neck pieces, kundan, polki, and pendants. The collection was inspired by the three hundred temples and mosques in Narlai, near Jodhpur. This collection will add a touch of royal élan to the wearer.
