Cost of a single Kanchivaram saree depends on the work, colour and materials. It stars from INR 2,500 to 1,00,000 or more. Real gold and silver are used to make zari in Kanchivaram sarees. In 1kg zari 420 to 470 gms of silver and 3.5 grams of gold are mixed. The zari usually comes from Surat.
