
Sunburn is an Electronic Dance Festival held at Candolim Beach, Goa organised by Percept. Initiated in 2007, has become the biggest crowd puller for the event. In 2009, CNN ranked Sunburn as the 9th biggest festival in the world.

What to wear at Sunburn?
Goa is warm during the day and gets better by afternoon and late evenings. Women can wear cotton shorts and tank tops. Spaghetti tops, tube tops, razorbacks, jumpsuits, harem pants, linen palazzos, are most suited for the climate. Guys can wear printed and bright shirts, funky t-shirts and loose shorts and bermudas. Do not forget to carry sunglasses and caps. Sunscreens are a must.

A beach destination, famous for Seafood is a Heaven on Earth for all Non-Vegetarians. Goan Fish curry, prawn biryani, Prawn curry, Caviar, Oysters, Lobsters, Squids are some of the amazing delicacies of Goa. The best place to enjoy these are at the at “shacks”. Shacks are small huts, on the beach where one can enjoy their drink and food while watching the serene waters of Goa. “Curlies” on Anjuna Beach is the most famous for its lip – smacking Burgers. You could also visit Brittos along Baga Beach.

Shopping during Sunburn
Although it gets extremely expensive during these days, one can still enjoy street shopping at Goa. Bright and colourful tops, harem pants and shorts are available to select from. Guys can buy floral shirts, cowboy hats, pipes to smoke from these shops too. Women can also find many small shops selling junk and fancy bead jewellery. Being a beach and holiday destination, shells of different sizes and shapes are also available as pendants, earrings or anklets. These are also available as magnets and other souvenirs which can be carried home as a memory. Panjim / Panji is a beautiful place for shopping.

Flea Market at Goa
Goa is very famous for its flea market. The Friday flea market is at Mapusa. Anjuna has a flea market on every Wednesdays. But please remember that these markets shut down by 7pm. Goan people have a great night life. The like to relax and chill by the beaches. The Saturday night flea market at Baga, is open almost till early Sunday morning.

What else can you do at Goa?
Goa is best on bikes! If you wish to travel and enjoy the destination, you must hire bikes. Activa, Scooty, Pulser, Bullet and even Royal Enfield are available on rent. These can be hired either for a day or a week and do not cost as much.
If you love getting inked, you could opt for beautiful tattoo designs. These can be either temporary or permanent. The temporary ones last from 2 – 7 days. Hair braiding is another option for those who wish to look trendy. Old Goa is also a place for beautiful Churches which can visited anytime until late evenings!
