Bipasha Basu launches her line of accessories called the “Trunk Label” which will be exclusively available online for purchase. Keeping the party season in mind; bags, accessories and shoes will be available for the price range of approx. 1500 INR each. Glitter, animal prints and Metallics will be included to her design collections.

After launching a clothing label, BBLove yourself with Reebok and a fitness DVD, titled Love Yourself: A fit & Fabulous You, it now time for accessories.
“I’ve always been attracted to the three Fs: fitness, fashion and food,” Basu says. “After a clothing line and fitness DVDs, when The Label Corp approached me for a collaboration, I thought we should start with accessories. They add the final touch to your look.”
Bipasha says, “An online store allows you to reach out to so many people”. She adds, “In a physical store, you may come out disheartened because you don’t find anything. Here, the range is wider and we keep updating the merchandise.”
She also plans to put up regular web tutorials for her audience to help them understand styling techniques. Her 4 simple, yet important styling tips for her fans are mentioned below:
1. “If you’re dressing up, allow one accessory to make the statement.” She adds, “Don’t overcrowd your look with necklaces, a flashy shoe and bedazzled bag… you’ll just end up looking like a Christmas tree.”
2. “Every time I’ve ever looked terrible, it’s because I wasn’t comfortable with what I was wearing. On the flip-side, I’ve pulled off bizarre-looking clothes only because I felt at ease wearing them.”
3. “If you see me off the red carpet, you’d think I just stepped off a flight to Goa. Ms. Basu continues, “My style is very bohemian: maxi dresses, long chains, trinkets on my hand.”
4. “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. I love buying them for myself and am happy to accept them as gifts too.”
The “Trunk Label” website is due to launch on Dec 4, 2013.
