Save and Empower Girl Child – The Doctors at Lilavati Hospital decided to take it a notch further by having Bollywood celebrities walk the ramp in ace Indian Fashion Designer – Manish Malhotra’s collection.

Top Bollywood celebrities including  Madhuri Dixit, Preity Zinta, Malaika Arora Khan, Mandira Bedi, Lara Dutta, Isha Kopikar, Swara Bhaskar and Evelyn Sharma walked the ramp with Manish Malhotra’s designer lehenga collection.

Mr. Chetan Prabodh Mehta, Reporting Trustee, Lilavati Hospital said: “The child sex ratio in India is at the lowest since independence and has been continuously reducing since the last 50 years. Empowerment is a continuous process and cannot be perceived as a one-time project. We have pledged to do 50,000 free check-ups for women throughout Mumbai. Children are our future and there is lot that we can do to uplift underprivileged children, especially girls.”
