Dark Sunglasses:
Don’t forget to carry your sunshades to Goa. The days will be really warm and bright. You will need dark sunshades, especially when you are moving around on bikes or cars. You could opt for the Polaroid lenses, since you can wear them even at nights, and look super-cool at the party.
Shorts and 3/4th pants:
Jeans and regular trousers will be a burden in the warm and humid climate of Goa. The best option would be to carry some shorts with you. If you are extremely conscious about wearing shorts, then you could go for the 3/4ths or longer bermuda shorts. Extra pockets will come handy for carrying phones and room keys. Pockets with zips are preferred for the safety of your belongings.
You also get dhoti types of pants at Goa. They will look great on you, and will also keep you cool, since they are made from light cotton.
Sleeveless, tank-tops, Hawaiian style shirts, or bare-chested:
If you have a good body, then you could sport sleeveless t-shirts, tank-tops, or even go bare-chested. Remember you are in Goa, where it is fine to dress up light. You will not feel out of place. Well, if you are on the heavy or bulky side, then you could wear loose Hawaiian style shirts with flower and beach prints, and still look cool.
Leave your shoes at the hotel:
Its party time at the Sunburn festival, and you will feel like walking by the beach with your friends. Boots and sneakers will not only be irritating, they can also be painful if the sand enters you footwear. It is absolutely fine to move around in Goa wearing flip-flops or men’s sandals.
Hats and caps:
Headwear can be very comforting during the day, especially if you not staying for long enough in Goa to acclimatize to the conditions. You could pack your favorite caps, or buy the brimmed hats at Goa itself.
