This designer sarees is from the collection “kruhun” which means ‘black’ in Kashmiri. Through the grand black and gold combination, Shantanu Goenka brought out the raw appeal and breathtaking style to the ramp. This designer sarees collection won him accolades and raving reviews. Goenka was trained under JJ Valaya, a reputed designer after graduating from NIFT Kolkata. Luxury, class and style are the terms associated with his work. His designs are unique and fabric quality is finest, and his collection exudes femininity and glamour.

The intricately designed pallu in shades of yellow and blue with a pink border in silk shows the sublime subtlety of the designers. Anita Dongre who showcased her designer sarees and other designer outfits brought back the charm of Rajasthan through her designer sarees. The extensive use of mirrors was the highlight of this sari which was made in honor of the Rajasthan’s oldest tribal culture of using mirrors on their outfit. Manish Malhotra sarees in black and white saree is from his festive designer sarees collection known as reflections. He presented a vibrant festive and pre-bridal collection on the eve of the Lakme Fashion Week 2013.
